Sets of numbers

Composite numbers are the opposite of primes, that is, all natural numbers having at least one factor other than itself and 1.

Examples of composite numbers are 15 and 4, because:

15=3*5

4=2*2

If the factors of a composite number are primes, they are called prime factors.
